LatchOS Bolsters ePMS Partners with Entrata

At Latch, our mission is to make buildings better for everyone. From residents who need access to their personal spaces to building owners that want to increase their NOI, our full-building operating system, LatchOS, empowers everyone who interacts with a building. Property managers are no exception.

That’s why we’re excited to expand our property management software integrations to help save property managers time and simplify their day-to-day operations. After adding RealPage to the Latch ecosystem last year, we’re now offering an Entrata integration to Latch customers for even more convenience.

“We know that our customers rely on their property management software to keep things running smoothly across their portfolios,” said Ian Dyer, Product Manager of Smart Access. “That’s why we’ve prioritized our ePMS integrations with partners like Entrata to help them simplify set-up even more and optimize their operations.”

Now, Entrata directly integrates with Latch’s enterprise management platform, Latch Manager. The integration pulls information from a building’s Entrata system directly into Latch Manager through a one-way data sync. This eliminates the need for property managers to enter resident information multiple times like name, email address, phone number, and lease start date when adding new residents into the Latch system.

Data entry alone can take between 1-5 minutes for every resident in Latch Manager. Thanks to the Entrata integration, property managers can save, on average, over four hours of their time for every 100 residents. Entrata even syncs with Latch Manager every hour, 24 hours a day, to ensure that it’s always up-to-date.

After new resident information has been pulled into Latch Manager from Entrata, property managers can immediately assign access to doors, set start and end dates, and enable access sharing for residents, all from their desktop or smartphone. Latch Manager can also display newly added residents right on the home screen when property managers first login to ensure they can easily update access when needed.

By simplifying data entry and making access management easier, the Entrata integration eliminates administrative headaches for property managers so they can more easily manage the entire building.
