Today, Latch announced that Travis Bickham has joined its leadership team as Vice President of Growth Marketing. Bickham will lead the Growth Marketing team, overseeing demand generation, performance, and product marketing.
“Scaling our marketing team to sustain Latch’s rapid growth is a top priority and being able to work alongside talent like Travis has us more excited than ever on what our growing marketing team can deliver,” said Latch CEO and Co-Founder Luke Schoenfelder. “Travis has an impressive track record of driving cost-effective growth, particularly with regards to top of funnel, and we’re thrilled to have him leading our charge in growing our customer base.”
Prior to joining Latch, Bickham ran global marketing at four hyper-growth SaaS companies that raised over $1 billion in cumulative venture capital during his tenures. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Marketing at BirdEye, managing an organization spanning demand generation, brand, product marketing, and business development.
Previously, Bickham led successful rebrands of Tubular Labs and Concord, generating 300% YoY growth for each company through multiple fundraising rounds, and spearheading international expansion into EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. At Tradeshift, he built the enterprise marketing function, including managing Tradeshift's annual presence in Davos. These efforts, which included media partnerships with CNBC and the World Economic Forum, led to signing more than 30 Fortune 50 clients and the opening of the mainland China market for Tradeshift’s two joint ventures spanning millions of suppliers.
Bickham is the creator of Championship-Based Leadership—a methodology rooted in his time as an NCAA champion in men's water polo at the University of California, Berkeley—that empowers non-hierarchical decision making and a culture-first organization. The methodology was successfully applied across a variety of business stages, including building Concord’s go-to-market teams from the ground up and more recently, bringing together international teams at Tubular and Birdeye to successfully launch and monetize first-in-category product breakthroughs.
“The key to dominating a market today is a breakthrough insight about customer needs, the growth engine to connect with those customers, and the brand to create passion beyond the category,” said Bickham. “Latch has all these in spades, and I couldn’t be more excited to partner with an incredible team to take Latch to the next level as we accelerate out of our recent public listing.”
