Introducing
Latch Visitor Express.

Visitor entry at commercial offices is unnecessarily complicated. From long lines in the lobby for guests, to annoying visitor invitation processes for tenants, to cumbersome check-in for building staff, there has never been a unified solution that meets everyone’s needs.

Latch Visitor Express is changing that. From towering high rises to smaller offices without front desk staff, our commercial building visitor solution makes it easier for any guest to get from the front door, through the lobby, and to their meeting faster and more easily.

More flexibility for building staff

When a new visitor arrives, the front desk staff can easily check them in with just two taps on a tablet—no extra steps required—and returning visitors can skip the front desk completely. That way, the lobby stays clear and the front desk doesn’t get overwhelmed for unparalleled simplicity and speed.

An easier way to invite any guest.

To invite a visitor to their office, tenants simply add a guest using their preferred calendar app, and guests receive an invite with all of the instructions that they need. That way, tenants have a visitor entry system that’s integrated with the tools they already use. Building staff can also see who’s been invited for added security and efficiency.

Faster first-time check-in.

When a first-time visitor arrives, the front desk staff can easily check them in with just three taps on a tablet—no extra steps needed, like printing a badge or calling the meeting host. With Latch Visitor Express, the lobby stays clear, and the front desk doesn’t get overwhelmed.

Easier access for returning visitors.

Returning visitors can skip the front desk completely using their LatchID. When they arrive, they simply scan their QR code at the turnstile and are automatically directed to the correct elevator—without checking in at the front desk—so they’re never running late because of time spent waiting in line in the lobby to be checked in.

As an early adopter and extremely satisfied customer of Latch products in our residential portfolio, I immediately recognized Latch’s potential to dramatically elevate the office-going experience. Tishman Speyer is proud to serve as a thought-partner, incubator and operational partner to Latch and look forward to launching Latch Visitor Express at our global headquarters.

We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Latch as an investor via Brookfield Technology Partners and an adopter of its residential product in our multifamily portfolio to now piloting Latch’s foray into commercial office. We continually look for innovative ways to enhance the tenant experience with the use of technologies such as Latch. As the company expands into commercial office, we can think of no better place to deploy its LatchOS system than in one of our marquee properties, Brookfield Place New York.

How It Works

1

Set up

Building owners enable Latch Visitor Express at a dedicated lobby turnstile and at one visitor registration station.

They then invite their tenants to enroll their visitors through Latch Visitor Express.

2

Invite

Tenants can invite visitors using the Latch App or directly through a calendar invite for an easier visitor registration experience.

3

Check-in

New visitors will receive a Latch Link with check-in instructions, along with their meeting invite. When they arrive, they simply show their Latch Link and ID at the front desk.

4

Access

After check in, the visitor’s Latch Link will display a QR code they can use to quickly move through the turnstile and their LatchID will be updated.

Once they’ve become a trusted visitor, guests don’t need to check in again. They can proceed right through the turnstiles at any Latch Visitor Express building for unparalleled convenience.

Latch Visitor Express is available beginning Fall 2021.
